KATIE CRABB
This is me as a bride in May 2022
Hello I'm Katie, a professional hairstylist specialising in modern, romantic, boho bridal hairstyles. I have over 13 years of industry experience and have many qualifications and certificates to show for it.

My ethos as a bridal hairstylist is to give a memorable, professional experience and create quality, bespoke hairstyles for the modern and traditional bride to feel the most confident and beautiful you’ve ever felt.

I take pride in my work and I'm always attending courses and making use of online education to keep up to date with hairstyles, techniques and products. I have a large kit, one that sometimes gives me a bad back from lugging around haha. Inside my kit you'll find lots of professional brands such as Cloudnine, GHD, Babyliss Pro, KYK haircare, Colorwow, Schwarzkopf Professional, TIGI Beadhead, Moroccan Oil, Hair Tools, Label.M.

I absolutely love everything about wedding's! They are the most magical day and I love hearing about all your plans and personal touches that you include into your day to show your individual personalities. The more bridal parties I look after, the more passionate I become as it gives me new ideas and inspiration for the next bride to be.

I only take on one wedding per day, this means I can arrive as early as we need and I don't rush off anywhere, you have my full attention right up until you are ready to walk down the aisle. This allows your wedding morning to run super smooth, and I'm about incase anyone needs a little extra spritz of hairspray, serum or tweak.
Once I’ve completed all of your bridal parties hairstyles and made sure that everyone is happy, I’m quite often known to get stuck in with any little errands that you may need help with like fastening your shoes, helping with jewellery, going on a hunt for a missing item, dabbing the excess water from your bouquets so you don't get water drips down your beautiful dress, you name it I've probably done it.

I'm a mobile hairstylist (one day I hope to have my own mini home salon/studio) so I come to you for trials. These are taken out Monday - Thursdays between 9am- 5pm and take around 2 hours usually. This is plenty of time to discuss all of your finer details, timings, etc and to trial out your dream hairstyle. Trials are best to have done around 3 months before the wedding, this is so you don't feel overwhelmed with everything and have made definite decisions on your dress, veil, accessories etc. If trials are done too far in advance it's likely you may want to change your hair colour and/or cut in this time then it won't quite look the same on your wedding day. There's many more reasons as to why but that is just an example.

If you'd love me to do your hair please fill in an enquiry form on my contact page with as much detail as possible to make the booking process as easy and smooth as possible.

I can't wait to meet you and be your bridal hairstylist!
